Not sure how I got here- but 4/19/86 is pretty damn good. I am listening to the PITB now which magically floated out of crazy fingers and it is very good- Berkley often did this to the band from what I hear

Give it a listen if you are open minded and think 86 was a total wash out

Best sounding boards of all time are from 1986. I love listening to Phil's baseline at the beginning of that Stranger from 4/19. The HJK shows from Feb are great, and so are the Frost shows in May. Even the Greek shows in June are good and the July 4th show is listenable as well. Maybe I should have voted for '86 to be the most underrated year.

'85 boards sound great, '86 was even better but then Healy changed something in '87.

Get your hands on any of the 85' or 86 Greek shows! The only weak show was Friday nite 86 but even it had a great Quin the Eskimo and cool Good Lovin.
